With the cooler temperatures of winter, the marina has been a little louder and more active. Various neighboring boat projects and marina projects, such as replacing the docks and pedestals have made things a little noisier. Add to that the dredging going on in the canals, and it sometimes makes it tough to work or even have a phone conversation. So, to get some peace and quiet, Randy and I just throw the lines and head out into the river. We have a nice anchorage spot where we don’t get too much traffic. We start up the mobil hotspot and we have a floating office. 🙂
