Merwin Key
Merwin Key is a small island off of Pine Island and Sanibel Island and right near Picnic Island, a small oasis for day trippers and campers. It’s a nice protected area to anchor near the mangroves. Kayaking in the area is fantastic. There is plenty of wildlife in the area for fishing, taking photos or sightseeing. We usually see dolphin, manatee and bald eagles as well as fish.
