Cayo Costa State Park
Cayo Costa State Park has a lot to offer as an anchoring destination. It's one of the largest barrier islands in Florida and is only accessible by boat. Visitors without a boat can take a water taxi to the island where they can camp overnight or just visit for the day. For cruisers, this is a great spot since you can anchor there and stay on your boat and take a short dingy ride over to the island to fish, swim, ride bikes, hike the trails or just be a beach bum.

Cayo Costa, the perfect cold front anchorage
Last weekend, Randy's sister, Tammy, and her husband Scott were in town and staying on Randy's dad's boat in Fisherman's Village.
